Material Handler
Pay: $20/Hour
Location: Kent, WA
Shift: 7AM-3:30PM
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Logistics Specialist to efficiently manage the loading, unloading, and movement of inventory and materials to and from warehouses and storage areas. This role requires the use of a forklift, stock picker, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. You will play a vital role in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system.
Responsibilities
Complete inventory of parts using an MRP system to track information.
Load and unload ocean containers and trucks using tools such as a crowbar, claw hammer, and other hand tools.
Pick and stage inventory against sales orders, work orders, and material requisitions.
Manage manual and clerical tasks related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.
Maintain stockroom in an orderly and organized manner.
Perform data entry as needed.
Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepare and package spares and machine orders for shipping and special assignments.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 to 3 years of related inventory experience.
Proficiency in generating proper documentation.
PC literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in cycle counts, inventory control, and order picking.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
Forklift operation skills.
