The Retirement Plan Implementation Specialist plays a key role in managing the onboarding and offboarding of retirement plan clients while overseeing daily operations related to investment change requests and enrollment materials. This position ensures seamless transitions, high-quality service delivery, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Implementation Specialist will coordinate cross-functional activities and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced Third Party Administrator (TPA) environment.

Client Onboarding: Lead and oversee the onboarding process for new retirement plan clients, ensuring setup documentation, plan specs, and data transfers are accurate and completed on schedule. Coordinate all aspects of investment provider changes, including timeline management and stakeholder communication to ensure a smooth, compliant transition. Collaborate with sales, compliance, and recordkeeping teams to support the implementation process. Develop and improve communication processes for clarity and responsiveness. Maintain data integrity across systems (e.g., PensionPro) and serve as the primary escalation point for onboarding issues. Client Offboarding: Manage offboarding of terminated plans, ensuring final reports, plan balances, and compliance requirements are completed. Liaise with custodians, advisors, and plan sponsors to coordinate a seamless transition. Document offboarding procedures for continuous improvement. Investment Change Processing: Oversee processing of investment change requests (fund lineup changes, mapping strategies). Ensure changes are compliant, clearly communicated, and implemented by deadlines. Collaborate with custodians and recordkeepers to reflect changes accurately. Enrollment Books & Participant Materials: Create and distribute enrollment books and participant materials; review for accuracy and compliance; tailor materials to client plan design. Work with internal teams to streamline and digitize materials where appropriate. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience) 5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, implementation, or operations—preferably in a TPA environment Strong knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), and other qualified plan types Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities Proficient in retirement plan recordkeeping platforms and CRM/project management tools Preferred Qualifications
Experience with document providers (e.g., ftwilliam.com, Relius) Familiarity with data integration and file formats (e.g., payroll files, contribution files) Our Value-Driven Employee Experience
