Title: Python Ansible Consultant with Network Automation

Design, develop, and maintain
Python scripts
and
Ansible playbooks
to automate network and Telco Cloud infrastructure tasks. Automate
configuration ,
provisioning , and
lifecycle management
of physical and virtual network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and
network functions
(VNFs, CNFs). Support automation of telecom services in
OpenStack ,
Kubernetes ,
OpenShift
environments. Integrate automation solutions with
SDN/NFV platforms , orchestration layers, and
CI/CD pipelines . Collaborate with network engineering, cloud operations, and DevOps teams to deliver
reliable, secure, and scalable
network services. Ensure compliance with
security
and
operational
policies through
automated compliance checks
and remediation. Maintain thorough
documentation
of automation frameworks, workflows, and network configurations. 5 years
of experience in network automation, preferably in telecom or service provider environments. Proficient in
Python
for network scripting and automation tasks. Experience with
Ansible
(including roles, inventories, and playbook development). Knowledge of
network protocols
(BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, IPv4/IPv6). Experience with Telco Cloud platform like
OpenStack, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes Exposure to
NFV
and
SDN
concepts and tools (ONAP, OSM, Open Daylight). Familiar with network automation framework like
Netmiko, NAPALM, RESTCONF, gNMI . Familiar with
REST API. Experience working with multi-vendor hardware ( Cisco, Juniper, Arista ). Comfortable in
Linux
environment & familiar with CLI-based tooling. Proficient in
Git
and
CI/CD
tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of 5G network architecture, including vRAN, O-RAN, and 5G core functions.
Experience with containerized network functions (CNFs) and cloud-native principles (microservices, service mesh).
Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and experience with tools such as Terraform.
Familiarity with network monitoring and telemetry tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Prometheus).
Certifications such as:
Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
Linux Foundation CKA or CKAD
Cisco DevNet, ETSI NFV, or equivalent.
