Myers and Sons Construction is a Heavy Civil Construction Company. We specialize in Bridge Construction, Bridge Restoration, Roadway Rehabilitation, Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants, Concrete Bridge Overlays, Concrete Paving and Alternative Delivery Projects, including Design Build, CMGC, CMAR and Progressive Design Build throughout California and Colorado. We are looking for a Structures Project Manager with 10–15+ years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry to join our team. We have several bridge projects throughout the Central Valley totaling over $180 million. Myers and Sons has been contracted for the construction of multiple structures, including cast in place bridges, precast bridges, box culverts and retaining walls. Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of project documents, including owner contracts, subcontracts, cost reports, CPM schedules, specifications, deliverable documents, correspondence, billings, and related project controls items. Lead a project team on a fast-paced project and apply knowledge of self-performed CIP concrete bridge work. Navigate Caltrans Standard plans and specifications (knowledge preferred). Work with accounting and project documentation software such as Vista; be detail oriented. Collaborate with project superintendent(s) and project engineer(s) to develop and execute work plans and track costs. On-site problem solving during construction. Manage cost reports within Vista and maintain understanding of the Owner contract. Monitor and report project schedule and cost progress. Assist engineers and superintendents with work plans in the field. Review and approve project invoices and subcontractor payables. Document control, including change and claim management. Subcontractor management and development of subcontracts. Material procurement including purchase orders. Benefits

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management or Engineering preferred 10–15+ years of experience in highway civil or structures construction projects in California Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and self-perform work Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving and motivational skills Caltrans bridge experience preferred Equal Opportunity
