Responsible for planning and executing Discretionary and Capital projects within Technical Entertainment, collaborating with all levels of management and external vendors. Works closely with operational teams, Universal Creative, Facilities, Engineering, and vendors to define, develop, and execute project scopes aligned with business objectives, following established project management processes. Major Responsibilities
Attend project meetings as a Technical Entertainment Stakeholder, review, contribute to, and manage the budget. Create SOPs for entertainment offerings under new projects, including venues, atmosphere, and events; determine staffing levels; partner on equipment needs and training programs; develop safety and equipment training. Develop commissioning plans for technical needs in shows and atmospheres; collaborate on tech grids with leadership; review ergonomics for technical positions if necessary. Review Blue Beams and consult on FFE needs; create consumable plans per venue. Partner with senior leadership on high-risk activities (pyro, fireworks, flames, rigging) and mockup space management; ensure maintenance and safety compliance. Follow Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate actively in safety responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned. Education
High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree or technical certification preferred. Experience
Minimum 5 years in professional entertainment or theme park industry. Management or supervisory experience preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
