$33.33/Hour on W2 Job Description – Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
to drive supplier quality performance and ensure that purchased materials consistently meet specifications. The SQE will collaborate with Product Management, Process Development Engineering, Procurement, R&D, and Manufacturing Operations to strengthen supplier processes, manage First Article Inspections (FAI), and resolve nonconforming material issues. Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve supplier nonconformances. Develop and implement robust corrective and preventive actions with suppliers. Manage the First Article Inspection (FAI) process. Partner with Incoming Inspection and Manufacturing Operations to ensure quality standards. Provide subject matter expertise during PSP and Kaizen events. Support quality improvement initiatives and report on assigned KPIs. Lead or participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring compliance and process improvement. Follow all applicable safety and quality procedures. Top Skills
Strong root cause analysis and corrective action development with suppliers. Ability to work independently, effectively, and efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills across departments. Crucial Attributes

Education:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline. Experience:
Manufacturing or Quality Assurance experience preferred. Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, injection molding, extrusions, stamping, etc.). Knowledge of product drawings, specifications, metrology, and measurement tools. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), process capability, and Quality Control Plans. Professional certifications such as
CQE, CQA, or CSQP
highly desirable. Training and role-specific qualifications will be provided during assignment.
