Summary
We are seeking a Residential Replacement Business Line Manager to oversee operations within our Replacement division, ensuring we continue to meet our customers' needs while upholding our commitment to quality and service excellence. This position is responsible for leading, developing, managing all aspects of Residential Replacement, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and alignment with United’s mission and values.
This role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.
Responsibilities
Financial & Business Performance
Own the division’s P&L, including revenue, gross margin, and net profit accountability.
Price jobs strategically to secure targeted Gross Profit Margin.
Track departmental revenue goals and actively promote upsell and change order opportunities.
Control overhead expenses to achieve targeted Net Margin.
Develop and manage the annual strategic budget plan; monitor and adjust as needed.
Report monthly financial and KPI results to the Chief Strategy Officer, Strategic Management Committee, and Owners.
Operational Excellence
Manage scheduling and workflow efficiency for both field and office teams.
Establish, implement, and monitor processes, procedures, and reporting systems to drive accountability and performance.
Identify and execute opportunities for growth, efficiency, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety, and quality measures.
Recruit, develop, and retain competent staff to achieve divisional goals.
Conduct regular team meetings and annual performance reviews with direct reports.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership training to staff.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Build team morale and ensure alignment with company values.
Directly supervises Replacement Field Supervisor, Sales Team, and Administrative Associates.
Communicate cross-departmentally to ensure alignment, resolve conflicts, and support company-wide initiatives.
Other Duties
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by executive leadership.
Qualifications
3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience in operations or business management.
Prior experience should include leading a team and being accountable for results.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
Proficient in project management with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Familiarity with safety regulations within the HVAC industry.
