Job Summary:
Join our team as an Overnight Driver for Amtrak, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the fast and accurate handling of merchandise to and from our warehouse and the train. You will operate both over-the-road (OTR) and non-OTR vehicles, including DOT-regulated vehicles. Compensation:

Responsibilities: Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after each route. Maintain a clean and pleasant atmosphere in and around the vehicle. Operate company vehicles safely, always following traffic laws. Provide exceptional customer service and act as a concierge for guests. Pick up and drop off guests at designated locations. Handle guest luggage weighing up to 80 lbs. Fuel and clean vehicles as necessary, and report any maintenance issues immediately. Complete requisite vehicle logbooks properly. Assist with warehouse duties, transporting equipment safely. Engage in clerical work and office duties as needed. Participate in scheduled department and safety meetings. Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and operations. Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old. A minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience is preferred. Effective communication skills in written and spoken English. A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past 5 years. Must pass a DOT physical examination and a pre-employment drug/alcohol test. Experience driving in varied weather conditions is required. Understanding of equipment used, including machinery and chemicals. This position may involve physically demanding tasks and require adherence to safety protocols.
