As our Product Manager III for DataPulse, you will be responsible for driving the vision and execution of R1’s Data Platform data quality product roadmap and ensuring the highest standards of data quality by developing proactive monitoring and alerting features. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data quality and monitoring, who can lead the development and enhancement of DataPulse to meet organizational needs. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams including stakeholders, engineering, and operations to ensure the product delivers value and improves operational efficiency. What you will experience

Here’s what you will experience working as a Product Manager III:

Define and communicate DataPulse's product vision and strategy, aligning with organizational goals

Prioritize and manage the product backlog, using Agile methodologies for feature development

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into product features

Lead product development with the team for timely delivery

Monitor product performance and feedback for improvements

Participate in the full software development life cycle

Present product status, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership

Review technical solutions and conduct demos for stakeholders

Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

2+ years in product management, preferably in data quality

Strong understanding of data quality principles and tools

Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams

Committed to high-level service delivery

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

R1 business process expert, translating business requests into technical tasks

Ability to work across workstreams, prioritize user value, and work independently

Experience leading analysts and SQL developers is a plus

Advanced SQL experience (complex queries, data transformations, etc.)

Familiarity with data quality tools and techniques such as data profiling, cleansing, and data validation

Preferred Skills

Understanding of cloud-based data systems such as Airflow, Snowflake or Databricks is a plus

Experience with Azure Devops, or related product management tools

Expert in AgileScrum product development methodologies

Experience examining data with SQL

This position is a subject matter expert of R1’s Data Platform, a cloud-based framework for flexible, consistent client data acquisition. This person must also be a subject matter expert in healthcare data quality standards and dedicated to leading a team to identify and implement data quality improvements across the organization. This position will partner with Solutions Engineers, meet with internal and external customers, gather requirements, and contribute to solution paths. This position will own our product backlog and negotiate with stakeholders to prioritize development activities using Agile methodologies. This position will also own project timeline tracking and act as a conduit between our teams. All work intake for our development team flows through our Product Manager. This is a customer facing position. Compensation & Benefits

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $90,000.00 - $138,517.79 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
