Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr The QMS Lead role oversees the site's quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This position drives continuous improvement through audits, corrective actions, process enhancements, and by leading quality initiatives across cross-functional teams. My client is a global manufacturer specializing in high-reliability products and accessories used in aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. Their solutions support mission-critical systems, providing durability and performance in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet industry standards and company requirements. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures. Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Train and support staff on quality processes and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues. Monitor and analyze quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of quality activities and results. Work closely with suppliers to maintain and improve material quality standards.

Profile / Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Engineering required. Strong background in quality systems management with experience maintaining compliance to industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100, or similar). Proficiency in conducting audits and implementing process improvements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams. Problem-solving skills with a focus on results and continuous improvement. Relevant educational background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
