Position Summary The Associate Director has 24 hour responsibility for the overall planning, organizing, direction and evaluation of patient care operations for a designated area(s). The Associate Director is key in operationalizing the Medical Centers mission, values and goals and creates an environment that supports the nursing professional practice model. The Associate Director is responsible for managing, guiding, coaching, and evaluating the work performance of all staff in their designated areas. Ongoing collaboration with other patient care departments/areas that relate directly or indirectly to patient care operations, process improvement, quality and facilities services is essential.
