Overview
The Associate Director has 24 hour responsibility for the overall planning, organizing, direction and evaluation of patient care operations for a designated area(s). The role supports the medical center’s mission, values and goals and fosters an environment that supports the nursing professional practice model. The Associate Director is responsible for managing, guiding, coaching, and evaluating the work performance of all staff in their designated areas. Ongoing collaboration with other patient care departments/areas that relate directly or indirectly to patient care operations, process improvement, quality and facilities services is essential.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, direct and evaluate patient care operations for designated areas.
Guide, coach and evaluate staff performance; support professional practice and development.
Collaborate with other patient care departments to ensure integrated operations, quality, process improvement and facilities services.
Operationalize the medical center’s mission, values and goals within perioperative services.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
Registered Nurse (RN).
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
