Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections (NDI/NDT) of landing gear components and assemblies. Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with OEM manuals, work instructions, and regulatory standards. Verify documentation including repair orders, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and traceability paperwork. Accurately record inspection findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken. Conduct audits and quality checks throughout the repair process. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Maintain calibration status of measuring tools and test equipment. Support internal and external audits, including FAA and customer inspections. Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and company policies. Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. 1-2 years Quality Control Inspector experience. Strong understanding of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145), EASA requirements, and OEM maintenance manuals. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills. Communicate effectively (oral and written). Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills. Familiar with Quantum Software. Previous experience with aviation components, wheels and brakes a plus. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
