Overview
Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate with 1-4 years of relevant experience to join the Estate Planning Practice Group in our Madison, Milwaukee, or Chicago office. Foley's Estate Planning attorneys provide the full range of sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and wealth management advice to individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations. Responsibilities and Qualifications
1-4 years of relevant experience in estate planning, with solid experience in drafting estate plans, estate and trust administration, estate and gift tax planning, and business succession planning. Experience drafting complex estate plans and business succession documents for high net worth individuals; drafting complex charitable giving documents. Counseling clients on income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning; assisting with probate proceedings for taxable and non-taxable estates; processing Federal gift and estate tax returns; and tax-exempt organization planning. Strong document drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills; a positive attitude and a strong work ethic; ability to contribute to a team; top academics and experience required. To be considered, candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the jurisdiction(s) of admission. Timely admission to the Bar coinciding with the office of hire will be a condition of employment. Application Instructions

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary range for this position is between $225,000 - $310,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
