Make a living and make a difference as the Director of Operations for Snyder ISD We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented leader to serve as the Director of Operations. In this role, you will oversee the district’s maintenance, transportation, custodial, and warehouse functions, ensuring they operate efficiently to support a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. This position is key to aligning operational excellence with the district’s mission of fostering a positive learning experience. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the district’s facilities, transportation, custodial, grounds, and warehousing operations. Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for students and staff. Develop and manage department budgets to ensure cost-effective operations. Collaborate on construction projects to meet district standards. Supervise and evaluate staff performance while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Communicate department goals and expectations clearly to all stakeholders. Develop and maintain safety programs to meet federal, state, and local compliance standards. What We’re Looking For
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. CDL required. Experience:
1–3 years in facilities operations management 5+ years managing teams
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational abilities Knowledge of operations management and safety compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Budget management expertise
