E-Commerce Manager Reports to : Co-Founder/Co-CEO Who we are At Wolf & Shepherd, we blend performance and luxury to redefine modern footwear. What we need We’re looking for a driven professional who approaches work with confident vigor, embraces the Wolf & Shepherd brand, and desires to create and manage the best site experience in the market. This is a critical position for our company; a lot will be expected. You should be hungry to make changes, grow professionally, and constantly seek new ways to make things better. This individual will be responsible for managing and constantly improving the Wolf & Shepherd digital experience, executing product launches, and reporting insights on key business metrics. The right person for this role will be both brand savvy and rigorously data-driven in approach. You will partner with creative, marketing, merchandising, and growth teams regularly. Job Type This is a full-time, exempt role with an onsite work schedule based in our HQ office in El Segundo, CA. Job Responsibilities E-commerce foundation & technology: Responsible for strategy and performance of designated web properties. Includes e-commerce website platform (Shopify), mobile/desktop UX, analytics, integrations, tools, and plug-ins. Site Merchandising: Responsible for executing against our merchandising strategy to drive product discovery and ultimately sell-through. Launch Execution: Own regular website updates to support new product launches and brand campaigns to help us create a premium site experience that converts. Search Engine Optimization SEO: Support the implementation of an SEO (onsite and off-site) strategy, driving referral and organic search traffic to the website. Tracking/Analytics: Responsible for maintaining a strategic tracking, tagging, and attribution model for all online digital activities. Includes paid media, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and off-line-to-online activities. Reporting: Regular reporting, analysis and share outs of all web and e-commerce activity, focus around important KPIs such as (CPCs, CPA, AOV, LTV, Reviews, User Experience, Site Speed). Development Team Management: Manage and maintain relationships with key web development partners including negotiating new agreements, defining expectations, and holding agencies accountable for results. Commission work (where required) from relevant consultants and/or freelancers. Forecasting: Contribute to the SKU-level sales forecast for owned e-commerce. Qualifications 3-5 years of professional experience in an e-commerce performance-based role, including campaign strategy/development, messaging, customer segmentation, lifecycle optimization, deliverability, and AB/multivariate experience A quantitative and qualitative thinker; Hands-on experience in sourcing data for consumer insights and planning marketing campaigns with those insights. Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to drive complex projects with minimal oversight. Collaboration and cross-functional teamwork: you love working with others and are great at building relationships inside and outside of your department. Thorough understanding of end-to-end eCommerce processes inclusive of website infrastructure, content management, and customer-facing functionality Proven success managing eCommerce business initiatives from conception to implementation to delivery with quantifiable results. Experience with Shopify is necessary. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and break down larger objectives into a detailed work plan. Ability to effectively apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
