The Role

We are seeking a

Business Development Manager

to grow our customer base, build valuable partnerships, and drive commercial growth across Europe. This remote role requires regular travel within Europe and contributes to democratizing 3D engineered human tissue platforms to reduce reliance on animal models in drug discovery. Core Responsibilities

Customer Growth & Partnerships Identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities to drive revenue and market penetration in Europe. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers to accelerate adoption of [Curi Bio] technologies. Execute tailored account strategies for pharma, biotech, CRO, and academic partners. Scientific & Technical Evangelism Develop deep technical mastery of Curi Bio’s portfolio, including Mantarray and Nautilai platforms and 3D engineered tissue services. Deliver compelling scientific presentations and demonstrations that translate capabilities into customer R&D solutions. Deal Execution & Management Manage structuring, coordination, and negotiation of complex instrument and service agreements. Oversee the commercial process from initial opportunity through contract execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Maintain long-term account relationships to drive customer success and identify expansion opportunities. Market Presence & Intelligence Represent Curi Bio at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events in Europe to enhance brand visibility and generate opportunities. Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and emerging scientific opportunities to inform strategy and product development. Ideal Candidate Profile

Education:

An advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant life sciences field (e.g., Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Pharmacology) is required. Experience:

Proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships, or a customer-facing scientific role within life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors. Technical Expertise:

Strong scientific background in drug discovery, tissue engineering, or stem cell biology. Hands-on experience with biological instrumentation and assay development is a plus. Strategic & Independent Mindset:

Results-oriented and able to manage complex initiatives in a remote environment. Exceptional Communicator:

Ability to distill complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences from executives to bench scientists. Relationship Builder:

Proven ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels; existing networks in pharma/biotech are desirable. Culture Fit:
