What Will You Be Doing? The Supervisor, Material Services leads the activities of Material Specialists and oversees the daily operation of the Material Services department, including Denver tool control and accountability, receiving, shipping, and issuing Frontier Airlines assets. Ensures correct calibration of precision tools, measuring devices, and test equipment used in maintenance and inspection programs.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

Ensure strict regulatory compliance (FAA, DOT, OSHA, EPA) in all department activities.

Dispose of chemical oxygen generators.

Maintain extreme accuracy in warehouse transactions and material handling.

Oversee monthly/quarterly shelf life audits at maintenance station locations where materials are stored.

Provide positive workforce motivation and team development.

Develop, implement, and monitor training; schedule and balance workload to maximize productivity.

Ensure warehouse security and safeguard company materials.

Conduct investigations for lost tools and complete required reports.

Supervise Material Services Specialists in daily warehouse functions and tool control.

Maintain accurate inventory at designated locations; manage damage, quarantine, calibration, and routing of tools.

Coordinate calibration with vendors and manage data in FMIS and related records.

Communicate with planning and maintenance to forecast tooling availability; manage tool movements between locations and approved vendors.

Direct and monitor administrative duties and ensure staff training and qualification in accordance with the Maintenance Training Program.

Operate within Frontier Supply Chain management to procure tools and arrange external repairs.

Adhere to policies and procedures; escalate irregularities to the appropriate managers.

Supervise and direct Material Services staff and coordinate with related departments as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field; or 3+ years of equivalent experience in materials or warehouse environment (in lieu of degree).

2 years of experience in a warehouse environment required; prior airline experience preferred.

Valid Driver’s License for SIDA Badge driving privileges at Denver International Airport to transport parts and escort delivery vehicles in SIDA-controlled areas.

Ability to work any shift in a 24/7 operation.

Excellent verbal and written communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic system applications.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Part 121 of FAA regulations, IATA, and related standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Equipment Operated

Standard office equipment; material handling equipment and company vehicles (certified to operate on secure airport premises).

Work Environment

Typical warehouse environment; airport ramp and maintenance areas; aircraft hangar floor operations.

Physical Requirements Moderate physical activity required; able to handle objects up to 75 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.

Supervision General direction; normally receives limited day-to-day instruction and general guidance on new assignments. Positions supervised: None.

Salary $58,394 - $77,508
