Overview KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. This position supports logistics for Navy ship and submarine systems in communications, networks, information assurance and interoperability, with emphasis on acquisition, production, and sustainment. The role involves developing documentation, managing logistics data, and coordinating with project teams to improve logistics support time.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in all aspects of ILS Program planning, research and development, design, budgeting, acquisition, delivery, and scheduling; establish database tracking in MS Excel and Office. Perform logistics data development and maintenance, supply support, and spare material inventory management, developing/updating ILS databases in MS Excel.
Support the development and update of Navy Training Support Plan (NTSP), Technical Manuals, PMS documentation, provisioning, and training curriculum.
Develop, review, or update Life-Cycle Logistics Support Requirements (LCSP), User's Logistics Support Summary (ULSS), Life-Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), Logistics Requirements Funding Summaries (LRFS), Independent Logistics Assessment (ILA) checklists, and other milestone-required documentation.
Develop, review, or update program BCA, SOW, and CDRL documentation.
Maintain logistics instructions, directives, and policies and support all logistics data calls.
Support meetings and reviews (e.g., Staff meetings, Technical Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards, IPTs, Fleet Support Teams, System Engineering Technical Reviews, SRRs) as required.
Develop and revise ILS Checklist and Certifications for Ship Alterations (SHIPALTs), Engineering Changes, and Software changes.
Maintain MBPS and related databases (CDMD-OA and TDMIS) for configurations of program of record and project systems.
Provide input for ICAPS provisioning packages and system APLs; coordinate with Echelon III for logistics information to ILS products including manuals and maintenance guides.
Develop, submit, and revise nomenclature requests/packages using JETDAS.
Provide input/review IMS to reflect logistics milestones; develop logistics input for briefs and other documentation to support program of record and project systems.
Review RMA data and track failure items affecting system availability; support forecasting analyses.
Review spare inventory metrics, obsolescence issues, Last Time Buy analyses, and reship/restart redesign considerations.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
Minimum of two to five years of experience supporting DoD SATCOM acquisition efforts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with logistics management software and databases
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Desired:
Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and procedures
Knowledge of transportation and customs regulations
Familiarity with DFARS and Defense Acquisition Processes
