Overview
Sr. Analyst, E-Commerce Network Strategy & Optimization — drive e-commerce performance and enable our grocery brands to predict and respond to evolving e-commerce needs across multiple states, stores, and fulfillment facilities. You will help set the strategy for e-commerce fulfillment, contribute to network design, support planning, and deliver actionable insights to support strategic decisions for our brands. Our flexible/hybrid schedule includes 3 in-person days at a core location and 2 remote days. Core location for this role includes Chicago, IL. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and evolve in-house analytical capabilities. Partner across teams to optimize capacity, calibrate the fulfillment network, maximize sales capture, and manage costs. Own at least one proprietary capability end-to-end: design, code, deploy features, document and train, develop product roadmap, troubleshoot bugs, manage vendors, and support end-user analysis. Evolve the solution ecosystem by aligning with performance goals, applying leading practices, and developing new models to meet changing business needs. Govern data inputs/outputs: collect, cleanse, validate, develop data pipelines, ensure output integrity, and facilitate end-user testing. Analyze company, external, and solution data to generate data-driven insights and visualizations addressing brand questions and strategic decisions. Collaborate with data teams and cross-functional partners to provide data, insights, and reporting to fulfillment teams, executives, and brand partners. Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, budgeting, process enhancements, initiative prioritization, and template development. Qualifications
Work experience (5+ years) in data analysis/data science, network optimization, mathematical modeling, analytics, and/or supply chain optimization. Degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Strong data analysis, end-to-end data integration, modeling across languages, reporting/analytics development, database design, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Technical skills in data integration, analysis, root cause analysis, database design, querying, and optimization software. Ability to work with large datasets, structure analyses, identify trends and anomalies, and communicate insights clearly. Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to influence across levels and present to executives. Experience with optimization and analytics tools (e.g., AIMMS, CPLEX, Gurobi, FICO Xpress, Llamasoft, IBM LNS, Blue Yonder, SAP APO) and data visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI). SQL and Excel required; Databricks preferred. Background in retail/e-commerce or CPG supply chain, with exposure to geo-spatial analysis, network design, strategic and tactical planning.
