Overview
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a
Contract Administrator (Level 2 or Level 3)
to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. This position offers a 9/80 schedule and will be based in-office. Contract Administration involves participating in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications. As the primary interface with the customer, the Contracts Administrator will ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood, ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and be proactive in administering each contract while maintaining historical information. Responsibilities This role will have significant visibility within high visibility programs, including some Division and Sector submittals and reviews, and must manage tight deadlines in a complex environment. The individual must meet high performance expectations in a dynamic environment. The candidate should be excited about learning, growing, and contributing to the Defining Possible in Contracts. Excellent communication is essential as the selected candidate will be directly involved in negotiations with the customer as a strategic team member. The team seeks someone who wants to gain experience with different contract types. Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and other risk areas; recommend risk mitigation strategies. Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs under general supervision. Assist management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales. Prepare written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters. Maintain contract data in Contract Management System and/or Enterprise Accounting System. Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submission of invoices. This role may be filled at Level 2 or Level 3 depending on candidate qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience. Basic Qualifications
Level 2 Contract Administrator Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or Master’s degree with experience in contracts management/administration and/or industry-related experience Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and/or government regulations Working knowledge of US Government contracting Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat US Citizenship Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance Level 3 Principal Contract Administrator Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience in contracts management/administration and/or industry-related experience Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and/or government regulations Working knowledge of US Government contracting Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat US Citizenship Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications

Salary Ranges Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00 The above salary ranges are general guidelines. Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available depending on position. Long Term Incentives may be available for VP or Director positions.
