is responsible for leading sales operations strategies for the Diagnostic Solutions commercial organization. These strategies include, but are not limited to, pricing, contract compliance, order processing efficiency, data analytics and data management. This role works across the US DS organization to ensure prioritization and alignment of critical business initiatives that enable the commercial team to deliver revenue and margin results. The Sr. Director of Commercial Operations provides strong leadership, builds cross-functional collaborative relationships, and has a process improvement mindset. This role reports directly to the US VP/GM DS and will be a member of the DS US Region Leadership Team. Responsibilities
Provides leadership and expert counsel in establishing and implementing standards, guidelines, metrics and best practices for the development and deployment of commercial enabling solutions. Owns the cross-platform pricing approval and contract compliance process to maximize discipline and GP inflationary pricing strategy. Owns key performance indicators, including developing and implementing countermeasures and sustainment initiatives to deliver business imperatives. Maximizes collaboration and alignment with US Region centralized resources, enabling efficiencies and ensuring consistency with business practices across the organization. Leads and champions the creation of metrics and a single source of analytics tools/reports to inform decision-making and strategy across the business. Leads the development and ongoing inspection of funnel execution in SFDC. Generates and maintains GPO performance reports to include incremental growth/loss, GP by GPO and price gain/loss metrics. Forms relationships with internal partners (Sales, Marketing, Business Solutions, Clinical Solutions, Service, WW DS BU) to achieve high levels of collaboration, effectiveness, and insight. Understands emerging healthcare industry trends, assesses their impact on commercial operations strategies, presents to executive leadership on a plan to address and implements approved strategy. Assesses current processes between marketing operations and finance analytics to recommend roles and responsibilities across functions in alignment with the commercial integration strategy. Establishes a team of commercial integration managers and data analysts supporting the needs of DS. Promotes improved methods to get the work done and implements best practices. Leads and supports other critical initiatives as defined by the US VP/GM of Commercial. Required Knowledge/Skills, Experience And Education
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the medical or technology industry. Shown ability to independently lead multiple deliverables and shifting priorities. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with leaders and key influencers, build credibility and challenge partners to drive initiatives and deliver high-impact solutions. Experience with general management and P&L responsibility in a domestic or regional business leadership role. Proven ability to establish goals, set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through with timely execution with cross-functional teams. Strong communication/presentation, listening/assessment, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; project management skills preferred. Proficient in technology including PowerBI, SFDC, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Workday. Ability to mine and analyze large data sets and extract core insights to tell the story. Prior Sales, Marketing, or other commercial leadership experience. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information to inform fast decision-making opportunities. Why Join Us?
