PGS Worldwide is actively seeking an experienced Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in Maple Grove, MN. This is a 1-year contract-to-hire position supporting aerospace and defense operations. Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including potential weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings.
Required Skills & Experience:
Previous warehouse experience (minimum 3 years in inventory management) High School Diploma required; must be 18+ with a valid driver's license Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to complete physical inventory counts and use computer systems for tracking, logging, and verifying information Capable of safely lifting up to 40 lbs and performing heavy manual labor Proficiency with handheld scanners, Microsoft Outlook, and related software Strong English communication skills (oral and written) Advanced math skills for inventory calculations Ability to operate propane or electric-powered forklifts Safety-conscious, deadline-oriented, and detail-focused Preferred Skills:
Forklift certification (including high-reach truck) Experience in process improvement within warehouse or production settings Willingness to work overtime when required
Position Overview: This role is responsible for safely opening and handling incoming containers, counting and weighing materials, and recording data using company computer systems. Duties include loading/unloading pallets and trays, performing physical inventory counts, analyzing information for accuracy, and supporting production needs with timely material flow. This position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to follow complex instructions and documentation.
