With KinderCare’s world-class curriculum, center accreditation process, and dedicated teaching staff, our Center Directors educate parents, teachers, and community leaders on the value of early childhood education and bring that value to life for the children in their center.
What you will do
Hire, engage and develop a team of educators to be passionate and committed professionals
Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
Use business, sales, and marketing savvy to grow KinderCare’s presence in the community, leading to the growth of new families and children in our centers
Required Skills and Experience
At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team
Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred
NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred
Meet state specific guidelines for the role
Able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
Able to assume postures to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity
Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
The role requires the ability to work on-site at the center daily
Compensation Range of pay: $56,250.00 – $102,250.00 per year.
In the state of Minnesota, we currently provide an additional $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked in addition to the range of pay listed. This premium is funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
