Country Manager, Brazil (Contract) – Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium. Department: Marketing. Direct Supervisor: Vice President of International Development. Status: Contract. The Miami Dolphins are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Country Manager, Brazil (Contractor) to lead strategic growth across our portfolio of brands—including the Miami Dolphins (NFL), Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, Miami Open, and Hard Rock Stadium. This role will be instrumental in expanding our presence, fan base, and commercial opportunities throughout Brazil. Acting as a cultural and business liaison, the Country Manager will build brand affinity, identify revenue-driving partnerships, and execute localized initiatives aligned with the organization’s broader international strategy. Location: Brazil. Responsibilities

Grow the popularity of each business unit and expand our consumer base in Brazil, addressing market specifics and developing a local strategy. Grow brand popularity and business opportunities across Brazil. Support crafting and executing an aggressive international growth strategy, leveraging knowledge and expertise in Brazil. Develop fan engagement programs, working directly with local partners, agents and agencies. Drive revenue through identifying opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships, ticket sales (group and resellers), retail, licensing, experiences, etc. Cultivate relationships with key partners and vendors in the country. Promote and represent the pool of brands at conferences and events, including local events in Portuguese and English. Craft and implement robust international growth strategies that include sponsorship, marketing, retail and business development, ensuring alignment with overall International Development department objectives. Strategize and develop programs and opportunities for events and fan engagement in Brazil. Conduct in-depth market analysis considering sports preferences, cultural landscape, and demographics. Prioritize Brazil based on fan base and brand presence, creating a tailored strategy plan for Brazil, incorporating local cultural and demographic insights. Leverage NFL's cultural relevance and social responsibility attributes to enhance Dolphins' international initiatives. Utilize the Dolphins' strong NFL positioning to drive in-market deep connection and amplify brand impact. Expand local fan programs using digital channels and influencers, focusing on Latin and Hispanic cultures. Leverage high-visibility athletes like Tua, Waddle and Hill for international promotion. Create strategies to enhance brand exposure and fan engagement across events. Increase behind-the-scenes content opportunities and cross-promotions at in-house events. Integrate promotional activities and fan experiences across all events for a unified brand experience. Form strategic alliances with global partners, including media, sports agencies, and local clubs. Coordinate with NFL International to align plans and leverage synergies in priority markets. Expand sponsorship of local sports events and community initiatives to build goodwill and additional opportunities. Utilize Flag Football’s growth to engage youth and expand the fan base. Participate in international sports conferences and events to showcase the Dolphins and engage partners. Partner with the Global Partnerships team to close deals and drive meaningful brand and business value. Expand online and physical retail opportunities with local partners to offer localized merchandise and memorabilia. Increase co-branded merchandise and collaborations for American Football, F1, and Tennis fans. Optimize ticket sales with special promotions and travel agency partnerships on a regional and local level. Partner with international sponsors for global marketing campaigns featuring the Miami Dolphins. Leverage local fan bases and relevant partners to boost merchandise sales and promotions. Minimum 7 years of senior management experience in the market, across marketing, sales, business, and/or operations. Fluent in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken). Demonstrated ability to scale brands or businesses locally with measurable success. Strong track record in building teams, driving revenue, and managing cross-functional projects. Experience interfacing with international companies’ headquarters and aligning local execution with international strategy, through navigating complex matrix organizations. Deep understanding of local culture, consumer behavior, market development, and business operations within the local region.
