Manager - Business Valuation and Litigation Consulting
Hybrid Role in office 2-3 days per week. Preferred location is Dallas, TX but open to candidates near our Houston, TX office. Candidates from all locations in Texas welcome to apply.

The Opportunity
HKA is looking for an experienced consultant to join our Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages team in based in Dallas. Qualified candidates will bring a directly relevant skillset including top-notch client communication and management, strong technical data analysis abilities, people management experience and of course, a track record of direct experience in Forensic Accounting, Commercial Damages, Valuations, and Litigation Support.
General Responsibilities
Manage or support Litigation, Valuation and other client focus areas by collating research and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
Conduct fact-based investigations to test the validity of allegations using proven investigative approaches and the latest technology.
Lead the production of Expert reports.
Communicate with clients using varying levels of complexity to relay data, findings and suggestions and manage their expectations effectively.
Assist with building complex models to analyze economic and financial data using spreadsheets and databases.
Conduct technology-enabled analysis of data to identify anomalies, relationships, or trends using the latest analytics and visualization platforms.
Work within deadlines/priorities across multiple projects, delegating/collaborating with team members.
Assist with Business Development activities.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s or Advanced degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or similar.
Minimum 5 years' experience as CPA, CFE, Forensic Accountant, or Consultant in a similar role.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Forensic Consulting or similar Financial Consulting roles focused on the following:
Analyzing and calculating damages in commercial disputes
Drafting and managing
Expert Reports
Business Valuation experience, with a variety of Valuation experience preferred.
Providing Litigation Support
to Expert Witness and partnering with clients' legal teams.
A strong technical background in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, and more; Experience with SQL preferred but not required.
