Job Summary : Our client is seeking a
Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney
with proven
trial experience
to handle complex business disputes, from case inception through trial and appeal. This role involves substantial responsibility for trial preparation, depositions, client strategy, and courtroom advocacy. The ideal candidate is confident, client-focused, and able to manage high-stakes litigation with minimal supervision. Salary : Base + Performance Bonus, PTO, Paid Holidays, Insurance Benefits Job Responsibilities : Lead or co-lead trial preparation, including witness outlines, exhibit preparation, jury instructions, and trial strategy sessions. Take and defend depositions of key fact and expert witnesses. Argue motions and hearings in state and federal courts. Manage all phases of litigation, from pleadings and discovery through mediation and trial. Collaborate closely with partners to shape trial themes and strategies. Counsel clients on risk assessment, trial exposure, and case resolution options. Qualifications :
5+ years of commercial litigation experience, with at least 1–2 trials taken to verdict.
Strong record of deposition, motion argument, and trial preparation. Exceptional oral advocacy skills and a proven ability to perform under trial pressure. Texas State Bar license (federal court admission strongly preferred).
