We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager with a minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage complex accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial operations. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively, contributing significantly to our financial reporting and analysis. Will work within a small accounting team and may be responsible for mentoring. Responsibilities

Oversee and perform timely and accurate reconciliations of various accounts, including leases, vehicles, contra debt, and other balance sheet accounts. Maintain and reconcile amortization schedules for leases and vehicles, including managing complexities related to intercompany billing and sublease billings. Update and reconcile schedules for fixed assets (including running depreciation), prepaids, equity, and intangibles. Perform bank reconciliations. Reconcile clearing accounts and ensure accuracy in payroll-related entries. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including conducting variance analysis for the balance sheet at month-end. Review and reconcile unearned revenue, ensuring proper revenue recognition. Review and reconcile entries for Capital Expenditures. Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with time constraints. Able to successfully coach, mentor, and lead others. Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

4-year bachelor’s degree, from an Accredited University, in accounting or finance is required. 7+ years’ experience in accounting/finance. Experience in working with multiple legal entities and intercompany. Experience with accounting ERP software packages is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential. Construction Accounting (work in process, Percent complete, complete contracts) preferred. Compensation & Benefits
