Reporting to the Director of Automation, the Intelligent Motion Solution Consultant is a key member of the Automation Team, responsible for driving accelerated sales growth across Robotics, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and Independent Cart Technologies portfolios. This individual serves as a subject matter expert, understanding customer business drivers and desired outcomes, and aligning capabilities and solutions to fully meet expectations. Acting as a liaison between Rockwell Automation, other technology partners, and Kendall Electric, the consultant provides marketing and commercial leadership, supports the development and execution of the commercial plan, and enables the sales team through training and strategic guidance. Additionally, the role includes building and managing a services and delivery support network as well as developing strong relationships within the partner ecosystem related to these technologies. What you’ll do
Lead annual growth planning and execution, including setting targets, identifying required competencies, and recommending future investments Lead marketing efforts with Kendall’s marketing team to bring customer awareness and interest Develop and maintain complementary technology portfolios to support strategic growth Define and implement a support strategy leveraging internal and external service resources Define and implement a delivery strategy leveraging internal resources and other delivery partners Clearly articulate the value of Kendall Electric’s overall offering in the context of customer business outcomes, while supporting account managers in opportunity creation and order closure Engage internally to build specialist and sales team competencies, ensuring awareness and understanding of new technologies and offerings Collaborate with the sales team to maintain a robust funnel, qualify leads, and close business opportunities Create and execute strategies to attach additional Kendall Group offerings to core solutions Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn new products and technologies, including adjacent solutions outside of core expertise Perform other duties as assigned Competencies you possess

Work Experience: 5 years of experience/knowledge with Industrial Automation, Robotics, AMR, and Independent Cart Technologies Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 6 years equivalent experience Mechanical Experience: Demonstrated expertise in industrial mechanics, including proficiency with mechanical design software and its application in engineering environments Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast-paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment Cross-functional skills: Proven outcome-based seller with understanding of industrial business drivers; self-motivated and self-managed Communication Skills: Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and guide team members when required; inspire, influence, lead and communicate across a diverse team not under direct management; effective presentation skills in both small and large group settings Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
