Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Consultant to assist clients in meeting state reporting requirements for Workers’ Compensation Qualified Self-Insurance and compliance with monopolistic fund regulations. This is a remote, 6-month contract position ideal for candidates with prior experience handling multi-state reporting and compliance processes. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple clients and state-specific deadlines while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and adhere to schedules for reporting requirements for each client, by entity and state. Collect payroll, hours, loss information, financial statements, and other documents from clients, TPAs, or other sources as required. Follow up with clients and third parties to meet tight deadlines and maintain compliance with strict state requirements. Monitor and update the status of all activities, ensuring data is accurately entered into state web portals. Guide clients in certifying and signing off on required information through state web portals. Maintain detailed records of all activities, including document requests, data submissions, actuarial reports, and proof of payments. Review surety bonds and other security requirements with each state, providing necessary documentation and supporting information as needed. Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience managing Workers’ Compensation compliance and state reporting requirements in multiple states. Strong proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Strong follow-up and diary management discipline. Ability to learn and navigate various state web portals efficiently. Why This Role is Exciting
