We are seeking an experienced
Oracle PeopleSoft Functional Consultant
with deep expertise in
Procurement (Procure-to-Pay)
and
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
to serve as a
Process Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Functional Business Analyst . The ideal candidate will have a proven background in
business process optimization, requirements gathering, and functional consulting
within the
PeopleSoft Procurement and Contracts modules . Prior experience in
healthcare or hospital procurement
is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Functional SME for PeopleSoft Procurement (P2P) and Contracts modules. Partner with business stakeholders to analyze current procurement workflows and recommend process improvements. Gather, document, and validate functional requirements for procurement, contracts, and vendor management processes. Configure PeopleSoft Procurement & Contracts modules, ensuring alignment with business, compliance, and audit requirements. Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle enhancements including vendor onboarding, requisition, PO dispatch, invoice matching, and contract compliance. Facilitate UAT, training, and workshops with procurement, finance, and supply chain teams. Collaborate with technical teams for system integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain functional documentation including business process flows, requirements traceability matrix (RTM), and test scripts. Ensure alignment with healthcare procurement policies, regulatory standards (HIPAA, HITECH), and audit controls. Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Consultant / Business Analyst. Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Procurement (P2P) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM). Hands-on experience configuring and supporting PeopleSoft 9.2 SCM modules (Procurement, Contracts, ePro, AP). Proven ability to optimize procurement processes including requisition, PO dispatch, vendor management, and invoice automation. Experience in business process re-engineering, requirements gathering, and solution design. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong documentation skills (FDDs, RTMs, workflow diagrams). Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in healthcare or hospital procurement environments. Knowledge of GHX EDI integrations (810, 850, etc.). Familiarity with supply chain compliance, audit alignment, and vendor master data management. PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related process improvement certification. Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. Collaborative team player with cross-functional leadership ability. Comfortable working in fast-paced, regulated environments.
