Dunn Carney’s Litigation Practice Group is expanding! We are seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience handling civil litigation matters. Our team represents a diverse clientele across a broad range of industries in a broad range of cases including personal injury and wrongful death, property damage, environmental and natural resources, real estate and land use, insurance, and business and closely held corporate.

The preferred candidate will have experience in both state and federal courts including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda, overseeing document gathering and production, client and opposing counsel communication, developing case strategy, arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions, as well as experience in mediation, judicial settlements conferences, and arbitrations and trials.

We are seeking a self-starter who is actively engaged in their own career development and is dedicated to delivering excellent, client-focused legal services. The preferred candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Well-developed legal research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Demonstrated organizational and time-management competencies including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Willingness to take ownership and primary responsibility for assigned matters, and work collaboratively with others.

Belief in the value of diversity and teamwork.

Admission to practice in Oregon is required; admission to practice in Washington is preferable.
