Overview
We are seeking an OCM Analyst for a long-term assignment working on-site at our Austin, Texas client. The primary role is to schedule, plan, and execute project-level change strategies, including the measurement of change readiness and long-term sustainability. You will work closely with project managers, business relationship managers, risk managers, application development and quality assurance teams, and other technology partners to complete IT Operations tasks. Responsibilities
Schedule, plan, and execute project-level change strategies. Measure change readiness and long-term sustainability of initiatives. Collaborate with project managers, risk managers, BA/QA teams, DBAs, SAs, and other technology partners to complete IT Operations tasks. Develop work products that support change management plans and execute plans with stakeholder engagement and end-user adoption in mind, with metrics and reporting created by the OCM Analyst. Coach and guide project teams based on industry best practices to improve cross-functional coordination and communication during project execution. Engage with employees at all levels and support development of relationships within ITD and across the agency; create and execute communication plans to convey project work, priorities, and impacts. Develop and maintain documentation and content for dissemination to non-technical users; translate technical changes into non-technical terms with strong written and verbal communication skills. Contribute to an inclusive environment and a culture of trust and transparency by sharing information broadly and openly. Support engagement, culture, and communications, and stay current with technology, standards, and best practices; support process improvement efforts within the team and across ITD. Qualifications
4-7 years’ experience in each of the following: Working knowledge of OCM methodologies such as PROSCI, including deliverables like Stakeholder Analysis, Change Impact Analysis, and Communications Assessments. Experience developing work products that support change management plans and executing them with stakeholder engagement and end-user adoption; ability to measure success with analytics and reporting. Experience providing coaching and guidance to project teams to improve cross-functional coordination and communication during project execution. Experience working with and communicating with all levels of employees. Experience with large efforts with agency-wide impact. Ability to develop content for dissemination to non-technical users and communicate technical changes in plain language; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain relationships within ITD and across the agency; create and execute communication plans to convey project work and priorities. Documentation experience based on industry best practices to improve understanding of technical changes. Commitment to an inclusive environment and collaborative relationships with team members, peers, and ITD leaders; embody accountability, ethics, and customer service. Support the vision for Engagement, Culture, and Communications; keep current with technology, standards, and best practices; support process improvement efforts. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Change Management or related field. Preferred Qualifications
5 years’ marketing and/or corporate communications experience. 5 years of graphic design or visual content creation to convey messaging. PROSCI certification. Compensation
Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr Location
