Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A respected law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney licensed in Delaware to join its litigation team. The attorney will focus on high-volume debtor representation in collection matters across multiple states. This fully remote position is ideal for an attorney experienced in state court litigation who is looking for flexibility and responsibility in leading a dynamic litigation practice area. Location Santa Ana, CA Duties Represent debtors in collection-related civil litigation cases Handle a high volume of cases in a multistate practice environment Manage all aspects of state litigation including pleadings, motions, hearings, and client communication Oversee case progress and ensure deadlines are met Support and potentially lead a litigation team Coordinate with internal staff and legal teams on case strategy and execution Maintain compliance with local court rules and procedures Requirements Active license to practice law in Delaware Experience with state litigation, preferably in debtor/creditor or collections matters Ability to manage high caseload efficiently Comfortable working remotely and using digital legal platforms Previous experience supervising or managing legal support staff is a plus Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications Licensed to practice law in Delaware Additional state bar licenses are a plus Skills Strong litigation and courtroom skills Excellent written and oral communication abilities Highly organized and capable of managing deadlines across multiple jurisdictions Ability to work independently in a remote environment Familiarity with debtor/creditor law, collections, or civil litigation Leadership and case management experience preferred
