LHH is working with a reputable law firm in seeking a highly skilled Contract Attorney to join their team in Glendale, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a strong focus on preparing and leading up to trial proceedings. Type:
Contract/Contract to Hire, Hybrid (3-4 Days Onsite), Full-Time or Part-Time Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to trial preparation. Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents including motions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials. Collaborate closely with internal teams, outside counsel, and clients to develop trial strategy and case management plans. Manage and organize case documents, evidence, and exhibits in preparation for trial. Conduct pre-trial investigations, gather evidence, and interview key witnesses. Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent and active membership in the California State Bar. Minimum 2 years of experience in Litigation Attorney roles. Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidence rules, and trial advocacy techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively. Proficiency in legal research tools and databases. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
