Rockwoods is seeking a

Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist

to drive enterprise-level marketing automation initiatives for a premier financial services client. This strategic leadership role requires deep technical expertise in SFMC, cross-cloud integrations, and marketing data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will lead innovation, optimize platform capabilities, and align technology solutions with business goals. Key Responsibilities

Define scalable, future-ready Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions. Lead the design and optimization of marketing automation frameworks across digital channels. Serve as the principal advisor on SFMC governance, multi-business unit setup, user roles, and platform security. Integrate marketing data across platforms including Salesforce Core, Tableau, Snowflake, and Google Analytics. Build dynamic engagement models using AMPScript, SQL, APIs, and SFMC automation tools. Collaborate with senior stakeholders in marketing, IT, and analytics to drive digital transformation and ensure compliance. Evaluate and implement advanced Salesforce features such as Data Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, and Distributed Marketing. Establish best practices for data management, segmentation, and campaign execution. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards including CCPA, GLBA, CAN-SPAM, and internal governance. Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering technical excellence and collaboration. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. 12+ years in marketing technology, including 7+ years of hands-on SFMC experience. Expert-level proficiency in SFMC administration, cross-cloud integrations, and platform scalability. Advanced skills in AMPScript, SQL, SFMC APIs, and multi-cloud connectivity. Strong understanding of financial services regulations and marketing data compliance. Proven leadership in enterprise-scale marketing automation transformations. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advisory capabilities. Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant). Experience with Snowflake, Google Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce CDP, and Loyalty Cloud. Familiarity with Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, Adobe Campaign, and enterprise marketing stacks. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
