Working Hours Monday - Thursday, 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM Job Summary: As a Receiving Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient receiving processes. This position involves verifying receiving documents, accurately entering data for incoming products, and proficient document management. You will engage with inbound drivers to guarantee a smooth receiving process. Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with inbound drivers Verify documentation for received products including Bills of Lading and other receiving documents Alerts the Supervisor of major discrepancies prior to receipt of products Maintain detailed records of inbound carriers in the Receiving Log Manage posting of purchase orders Prepare and maintain the daily Receiving Exception Report Coordinate dock door assignments and driver contact with receivers and unloaders Assist in collecting freight handling and late delivery fees Compile end-of-shift receiving and inventory reports Ensure time and performance accuracy for team members using APT Document outbound trailers in the shipping log Report damages and inventory discrepancies promptly Adhere to food safety and housekeeping standards Cross-train for Shipping Clerk functions as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or relevant business experience is a plus Previous experience in receiving or warehouse environments preferred Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in using email, word-processing, spreadsheets, WMS, and other applications Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to serve our members Environmental Job Conditions: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally Capability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat regularly in a refrigerated warehouse environment Must be able to grasp, reach, push, and pull items as necessary Endurance for continuous and fast-paced work is essential Work environment may include fluctuating temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit Must wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, and insulated clothing as needed Acknowledge the presence of food allergens in the workspace Utilize equipment safely and accurately after training In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
