ERM is seeking a Consulting Director, SAP EHS, Product Compliance, & Sustainability to join our Digital Services team based in Houston, Texas. Must Have Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Chemical / Environmental Engineering / Science. Or equivalent experience. Strong chemistry and Product Stewardship / compliance knowledge and experience. Experience with a minimum of six full life-cycle SAP implementations including all phases. 8+ years (10 to 15 years preferred) of experience – consulting and/or industry; consulting project sales experience is a must. Full Cycle SAP Product Compliance deployments – ECC and/or S/4HANA – including planning, defining requirements, design, build, test, and deployment. Strong Chemical / Pharmaceutical business and market knowledge. Strong SAP technical knowledge of specification database, materials management, procurement, logistics shipping & delivery, customer master and overall SAP landscape functionality & integration. Strong business process knowledge – Product Stewardship / Product Compliance, P2P, OTC, and Manufacturing. Subject Matter Expert in Specification database / Substance Data Model, SDS authoring/distribution, DG classification/checks, GLM, Global product compliance / SVT including checks, and Discrete Product Compliance SPRC. Commercial acumen and drive – track record of customer relations, business development and proposal management. Project delivery skills – track record of technical delivery success to scope and budget. Track record of proposal preparation experience – strong writing and estimating skills required. Rich personal contact network expected – industry EHS&S contacts, SAP & Partner ecosphere, consultant community. Self-motivated and driven; strong people skills – project staff leadership, client stakeholder engagement, and client leadership relationships. Nice to Have Qualifications: Project Management certifications. Strong Manufacturing – High Tech and Hard Goods - business and market knowledge. SAP EHS Product Compliance Architecture skills – WWI / GenPC, Expert, OCC / ADM / Cloud Loader. SAP EHS Product Compliance Content SME – 3E ERC+, SPRC Content Yordis/Opesus and/or CDX/SAP. SAP technical skills (ABAP, BTP, iDoc, ALE, APIs, etc.) and certifications. SAP Product Compliance Adjacencies technical skills / experience – GTS, PLM, Sustainability Suite (SCT, SFM, RD&P). SME in global product compliance regulatory requirements. SAP EHS&S adjacency experience desired (e.g., Supply Chain, PLM, Material Management, warehouse management, SD Logistics, etc.). Responsibilities Lead opportunity development sales team on RFP preparation with the scope of work, level of effort estimation, timeline plan and high-level project plan. Define and lead sales campaigns – platform, business requirement, solution based. Lead collateral content development and webinar preparation / delivery. Lead pre-sale solution demos. Evaluate EHS PS software systems available on the market, including assisting clients with system requirements and system selection. Provide advice on different EHS PS software systems in response to specific data, organizational and operational requirements. Interact with clients on a routine basis to gather requirements and develop a full understanding of various business scenarios to assist with proposal development. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of SAP methodology, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Engage in all life cycle stages of project execution; provide support and enhancement to SAP platforms and solutions as required to meet client objectives. Analyze user requirements, prepare requirements documents, as-is & to-be processes and identify gaps. Prepare for and lead project Blueprinting sessions with customer stakeholders to gather and document effective business requirements and translate them into functional and technical design specifications. Design processes to meet requirements and prepare functional specifications. Facilitate change management related to adoption of new information systems. Collaborate with clients to develop/refine implementation strategy and on-going testing needs. Prepare test plans, conduct testing validation, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Implement SAP EHS Product Compliance software solutions; assist with SAP system configuration, integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, and improvements. Lead consultant teams that configure/deploy SAP EHS Product Compliance solutions; publish system design documents, configure components, analyze/migrate data, and specify custom reports/dashboards and automated interfaces. Provide knowledge transfer through formal documentation and end-user training; engage in system support and training documentation teams, and prepare and present training to internal consultants and client users.
