The Royal Caribbean Group’s has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, Tech Photo Operations reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Operations & Partners. Responsibilities
Manage and lead shoreside In-House Photo Team to successfully grow photo revenue operations and positive guest satisfaction results. Ensure brand compliance with all photo merchandise/products. Oversee all necessary systems that are needed to make the product operational, while looking for new/more efficient systems that improve revenue and productivity. Photo Operations accountability for Net Revenue targets for twenty-six vessels; manage business, personnel, and technical activities related to Photo; work independently to improve performance and generate revenue ideas from analysis. Lead development of the Photo Management team onboard each ship and represent them shoreside in resolving issues proactively and efficiently. Drive and support strategic initiatives including implementation of new photo technology, regulatory compliance, policy and procedure changes, logistics, refurbishments, new ship builds, internal controls, audit support, shipboard photo personnel hiring, scheduling, coaching, and development and photo marketing. Expand the onboard business in line with company vision and objectives; ensure detailed knowledge of onboard cruise ship culture, onboard photo operations, environmental compliance, rules and regulations; implement procedures with a proactive approach to quality control. Ensure staff are adequately qualified, trained, and certified for their roles (Photo Lab Technician, Assistant Photo Manager & Photo Manager). Communicate regularly with onboard photo teams to ensure operations, support, revenue, and targets. Qualifications And Education
High school graduate (or equivalent). College degree in Business Management or related field is a plus. Minimum of five years in Photo Management and seven years of Photo Operations experience. Shipboard Photo experience strongly preferred. Must be willing to travel frequently and work flexible hours. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, ROES, Windows, Android, iOS, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage remote team. Ability to complete tasks on time and within budget; innovative problem solver for operations; ability to transform data into actionable reports. Detailed working knowledge of onboard cruise ship culture, onboard photo operations, brand guideline procedures, rules and regulations. Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally for fleet and new builds, including staff training, photo revenue operations and brand compliance. Knowledge of HR policies and ability to use disciplinary action processes through coaching and counseling. Ability to represent the Photo Operations Department shipboard and shoreside confidently and effectively. Knowledge of current Photo industry best-practices; ability to manage direct and indirect reports; strong data interpretation skills; ability to read and write extensive procedures and instructions and present them clearly. Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to problem solve and work under pressure; ability to multi-task; ability to deliver a comprehensive business case or white paper. Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work flexible hours; exceptional independence and collaborative capability. Financial / Quantitative Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving Net Revenue targets for each vessel through proactive analysis, planning, and coaching. Develop understanding and execution of complimentary reinvestment. Deliver projected ROI for photo new builds, refurbishments, and revitalizations. Internal / External Relationships
