Exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, newly launched beauty brand! Hung Vanngo Beauty, founded by professional makeup artist Hung Vanngo, is looking to build a team of industry veterans to grow the brand from launch to a major player in makeup.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Director of Operations
to lead and optimize all aspects of our production and supply chain functions. This role is critical in scaling operations, improving efficiency, ensuring quality, and delivering products to market on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has a strong background in beauty or CPG (consumer packaged goods), with deep knowledge and strong relationships within contract manufacturing, logistics, and inventory planning and management. Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Logistics
Oversee and execute the entire end-to-end supply chain, including all aspects of procurement, manufacturing, assembly, warehousing, and distribution. Manage relationships with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and 3PL partners. Optimize logistics operations to ensure cost-efficiency, timeliness, and reliability. Ensure compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards across the supply chain. Problem solve to ensure key timelines and milestones are maintained. Production Oversight
Plan and forecast production in alignment with sales projections and marketing campaigns. Work closely with Product Development teams to align operations with new product launches. Monitor production KPIs (cost, quality, efficiency, lead times) and implement continuous improvement strategies. Inventory & Demand Planning
Collaborate and drive the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process for new product launches and core catalog. Implement best practices for inventory management to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze sales and demand forecasts and adjust production schedules accordingly. Process & Performance Optimization
Identify bottlenecks, implement scalable processes, and drive operational excellence. Develop and manage operations budgets, cost control measures, and performance metrics. Establish internal processes and systems to streamline workflows for all operational activities. Qualifications
7 years of operations or supply chain experience in beauty or CPG — experience in color cosmetics strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing, global supply chains, and regulatory compliance. Proven track record of strong relationships managing global contract manufacturers and suppliers. Previous brand experience working with Sephora preferred. Experience implementing processes within early stage companies. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and project management skills. Experience with ERP systems, demand planning tools, and logistics management preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field Salary range:
