The Senior Director of Planning, Procurement and Production oversees all aspects of production, planning, procurement, vendor, and contract manufacturing management. This leader will scale operations, improve margins, and deliver flawless execution of day-to-day supply chain operations. Responsibilities
Production Planning & Manufacturing: Ensure timely and efficient production schedules while meeting quality standards and timelines. Manage and optimize relationships with contract manufacturers (CMOs) and fillers. Cross-functional leadership across PM, QA, Distribution, and Demand planning to deliver flawless execution of the production plan. Hold the team accountable to deliver production plans aligned with commercial goals. Monitor sales trends and consumer demand to adjust planning assumptions accordingly. Procurement & Vendor Management: Oversee day-to-day vendor management activities, including tracking, execution, and reconciliation. Establish strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts for optimal cost, quality, and lead time. Implement scorecard accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Supply Chain Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements across the supply chain to enhance speed, efficiency, and resilience. Optimize working capital by balancing inventory levels with demand risk. Lead efforts in supply chain digitization, data visibility, and ERP utilization. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team across procurement, operations, and production functions. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Partner with Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams to support innovation and compliance. About You
You are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within the beauty or CPG space. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments where innovation and agility are key. You bring a strong analytical mindset, proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and the capability to build strong supplier relationships, navigate complex planning scenarios, and ensure production meets brand and commercial goals. You are a builder who solves challenges, improves processes, and scales systems to support rapid growth. You communicate clearly, lead with integrity, and inspire teams to deliver excellence from concept to shelf. You are passionate about creating exceptional beauty products that consumers love and trust. Qualifications
10–15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, or operations; at least 5 years in a leadership role Proven experience in the beauty, personal care, CPG, or luxury goods industries Strong knowledge of supply chain systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Anaplan) and production management Experience working with contract manufacturers and global suppliers Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and P&L impact Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering (MBA preferred) Passion for the beauty industry and consumer experience Experience scaling operations in a high-growth or startup environment Background in sustainable sourcing or green packaging initiatives Our Total Rewards
