System Training: Works closely with the Bureau of Information Technology (IT) to understand DYCD data systems and provide training for internal and external users. Oversees coordination between program units, the system integration team, and IT to align training schedules with development and program cycle timelines. Develop annual training plans with external vendors and program units to meet emerging and ongoing needs; adjust plans as new functionality and programs come online to ensure adequate support. Manage contracts with external training vendors and assign trainings to efficiently utilize the agency’s resources. Conduct and provide quality assurance and feedback on standard system trainings, including workscope submission, data entry, and monitoring (e.g., DYCD Connect). Develop new trainings on specialized DYCD Connect functionality as needed to meet the needs of program units. Understand and provide training for other DYCD systems as needed. Develop a system for maintaining accurate and updated user guides and other materials to support system learning. Create, edit, and/or approve asynchronous resources for training, including video tutorials and other multimedia resources. Document and elevate user concerns and issues with data systems to improve system functionality. Utilize adult learning principles to increase user engagement in system trainings. Create mechanisms for user feedback on data systems and trainings to continue to improve system functionality and resource development. Develop communications and marketing strategies to build awareness of DYCD systems. Convene interagency workgroups to inform system training and policies. Other tasks as assigned. Management and Leadership

Assists in project planning, scheduling, and documentation; ensures quarterly targets and milestones are on track; collects and reports status of team progress. Provides input into project plans or develops plans under supervision; may implement plans independently with support as needed. Upholds PPIE standards for collaboration, facilitation, integration, and supervision. Engages with other Units within the Bureau on projects; models accountability and encourages cross-unit collaboration. Develops opportunities for the Bureau to interact to build culture; provides timely, growth-oriented feedback to supervisees. Minimum Qualifications

For Assignment Level I: A master’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental science or public health. For Assignment Level II and above: A doctorate degree with specialization in an appropriate field and one year of relevant supervisory/administrative or research experience; or a master's degree with three years of relevant experience; or equivalent combinations as specified; all candidates must have at least a master’s degree and relevant experience as described above.
