Faculty Policy, Compliance, and Records Lead

The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) provides support for faculty and oversight of faculty-related policies for the institution. The Faculty Policy, Compliance, and Records Lead manages faculty appointment related actions, works collaboratively with the Director of Operations & Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs (APFA), and is responsible for day-to-day operations in OFA as well as policy, procedures, and compliance related matters. Position Summary:

The Faculty Policy, Compliance, and Records Lead will serve as the primary contact for faculty appointment related actions, manage and maintain faculty appointment related records and documentation, and provide courtesy reviews of non-tenure track offer letters. Responsibilities: Executive Reviewer and Approver in UGAJobs for Faculty Affairs Manages and maintains faculty appointment related records and documentation Serves as primary contact for part-time and/or limited term reappointment supporting documents Provides courtesy reviews of non-tenure track offer letters Completes OneUSG Connect MFE Updates and/or Verification new faculty appointment related actions Requirements: Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field Prior experience in systems associated with faculty appointments at UGA, policy review and application, and creation and maintenance of filing systems and standards Working knowledge of faculty related employment actions and hiring policies Knowledge of academic administrative systems and related business practices Exceptional attention to details and ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet regular deadlines EEO Policy Statement:
