The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function provides training, tools and opportunities to create innovative solutions for the function and the corporation. This role focuses on Strategic Sourcing of Capital Equipment, Parts, Services and Construction for the OCS Business, managing a project portfolio that may include Expansion of Business (EOB), Maintenance of Business (MOB), and Development projects. The aim is to drive Capital Cost Reduction and Capital Project Performance efficiency through the Capricorn Capital Project Management Best Practices. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, OCS Procurement, Capital. Responsibilities
Develop and execute Strategic Sourcing Plans for large capital-intensive projects. Apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, including acquisition, use/administration, maintenance, processing, and disposal costs. Develop and use Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to break down major deliverables into smaller work packages. Ensure well-developed Statements of Work (SOW) for clarity and accountability. Understand and apply funding stage gate processes to align with project objectives. Identify risks and develop comprehensive risk management plans. Develop RFPs/RFQs for capital equipment, services, and facilities; lead pre-bid and post-award reviews; facilitate supplier selection and procurement decisions. Demonstrate understanding of Contract Language, Business Law, and UCC; manage various contract types and monitor performance schedules; administer contracts to ensure scope, performance and quality; lead full lifecycle of Contract Management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Supply Chain and related field. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Capital Sourcing and Contract Administration. Experience in Project Procurement Management, including planning and project development. Desired Skills
Certifications such as CPSM, PMP or CSCP. Experience in capital-intensive industries (manufacturing, energy, construction). Proficiency with procurement tools like SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, or similar platforms. Strong analytical skills with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Location
COC Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. Up to 25% travel (domestic and occasional international). Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $96,534.00 - $132,734.00 for full-time status. Starting pay depends on factors including location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
