Senior Growth Officer - Port & Terminal Operations

Job Summary We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Growth Officer to lead the expansion of port and terminal operations. This executive will spearhead efforts to increase cargo volumes, develop new market opportunities, and strengthen long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring industry expertise, a proven track record in business development within maritime logistics, and the ability to develop innovative growth strategies to ensure sustained success. Responsibilities

Identify and target potential shippers, customers, and promising market segments. Balance short-term revenue gains with long-term sustainable growth initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, providing ongoing operational support, strategic guidance, and identifying opportunities for mutual growth. Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans, marketing campaigns, and budgets aligned with organizational growth objectives. Craft compelling proposals, negotiate contract terms, and close deals to expand the customer base and meet revenue targets. Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and market data to uncover new opportunities. Regularly collaborate with senior management to refine growth strategies based on industry insights. Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, maritime studies, or a related discipline (preferred) 7–10 years of experience in maritime logistics, terminal operations, or related industries with a strong focus on business growth Proven success in securing new cargo volumes, marine clients, and long-term contracts within a terminal environment In-depth knowledge of vessel operations, stevedoring services, marine logistics, and pricing models Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting Willingness to travel as needed and work non-traditional hours when required Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and project management skills
