Business Development Manager - HVAC for Pharma role at

Smardt Chiller Group . We are expanding our Global team and have ongoing opportunities in the pharmaceutical cooling segment. Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the Pharma vertical markets segment. Identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and risks to Smardt Pharma business; set sales targets and create actionable plans to achieve the annual secured sales plan. Establish the Smardt Pharma brand and market delivery approach; identify and attend appropriate industry events and market the Smardt brand to the pharmaceutical industry. Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients in the Pharma industry; collaborate with Smardt Sales Reps to develop go-to-market plans and execute for total market growth. Develop an Account Management culture; include account plans, internal/external reviews, and quarterly business updates. Design and customize chiller solutions with engineering/product teams; stay informed on advances in cooling systems relevant to pharma (Office, R&D, Manufacturing, etc.). Lead sales organization: hire, develop, coach, and manage performance; forecast bookings to leadership; coordinate with Service, Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain for delivery and budgets. Collaborate with marketing for targeted campaigns and with service/supply chain to ensure seamless installation, maintenance, and after-sales support. Conduct market research, analyze sales data, and prepare regular performance reports for senior management; use insights to refine strategies. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards; promote integrity and accountability within the team. Represent the company at industry conferences/trade shows; build a strong professional network and engage with industry associations. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in sales or business development within the HVAC/chiller industry or related fields. Proven track record of success in the pharmaceutical market and/or specialized vertical markets. Strong understanding of the technical aspects of chiller systems and cooling solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to engage with C-level executives. Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office; willing to travel to meet clients and attend events. Key Competencies
