Develops, analyzes, and implements statistical models for computerized financial trading strategies and quantitative finance techniques. Understands and adopts strategies to apply automation. Utilizes creativity and innovation to create novel approaches and solutions to trade profitably in markets. Applies expertise in the financial domain and coding of strategies for algorithmic traders to convert them into algorithms. Provides simple solutions to more complex trading problems through deep quantitative analysis with mathematics computations. Builds large-scale distributed computing programs to generate analytics and present results in user-friendly visualizations. Codes, innovates and improves proprietary models and algorithms. Designs and delivers solutions with high reliability, resiliency and scalability. Completes data preparation, data testing and modeling tasks in accordance with established policies, standards and accepted modeling practices. Performs as a specialist in all areas of the software life cycle and operates as a hands-on technologist to deliver solutions. Supports the design, development, and maintenance of a high performance automated trading platform and supporting infrastructure. Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders. Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine. Implements changes in response to shifting trends. Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications

Data driven decision making. Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge. Salary and Type

Salary: $112,200.00 - $209,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents the expected target for the first year in this position. BMO’s total compensation may include incentives, bonuses, and other perks. About Us
