BMO U.S. The role develops, analyzes, and implements statistical models for computerized financial trading strategies and quantitative finance techniques. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of professional core Java development experience, strong multi-threaded programming skills, and a strong understanding of financial markets and electronic trading systems. 7+ years of professional core Java development experience Strong JUnit testing skills Strong multi-threaded programming skills Strong understanding of financial markets and electronic trading systems Experience with optimizing software performance and reducing latency Key responsibilities include building large-scale distributed computing programs, coding and innovating proprietary models and algorithms, and designing and delivering solutions with high reliability, resiliency, and scalability. Builds large-scale distributed computing programs to generate analytics and present results in user-friendly visualizations. Codes, innovates, and improves proprietary models and algorithms. Designs and delivers solutions with high reliability, resiliency, and scalability. Completes data preparation, data testing, and modeling tasks in accordance with established policies, standards, and accepted modeling practices. Performs as a specialist in all areas of the software life cycle and operates as a hands-on technologist to deliver solutions. Supports the design, development, and maintenance of a high-performance automated trading platform and supporting infrastructure. Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders. Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine. Implements changes in response to shifting trends. Qualifications: Intermediate level of proficiency: Adaptability, Learning Agility, Building and managing relationships. Advanced level of proficiency: Risk analytics, financial markets, Finance, Pricing securities, Creative thinking, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Programming, Statistical Models, Data structures, Automation, Verbal & written communication skills, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Collaboration & team skills, Able to manage ambiguity, Data-driven decision making. Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge. Salary:

$112,200.00 - $209,000.00 Pay Type:
