Full-Time Associate Director of Mental Health
to provide leadership, support clinical excellence, and advance our mission of delivering high-quality behavioral health services in a skilled nursing setting. About NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler: renowned for its specialized memory care program and commitment to high-quality short-term rehabilitation therapy and long-term skilled nursing services. Located on Roosevelt Island, Coler offers a warm setting with comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health care across rehabilitation and long-term care needs. Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for psychiatric services within the skilled nursing facility. Collaborate with medical, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Deliver direct clinical services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning. Supervise and mentor attending psychiatrists, psychiatric residents, and other clinical staff. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and evidence-based standards of psychiatric care. Support quality improvement initiatives and help shape innovative models of behavioral health care delivery in the long-term care setting. Qualifications
Board Certified in Psychiatry (Board Eligible within 5 years post-residency considered). New York State medical license required. Experience in geriatrics, long-term care psychiatry, or consultation-liaison psychiatry strongly preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills, commitment to academic medicine, and dedication to patient-centered behavioral health care. Benefits

$300,000–$315,000
