We are seeking an accomplished Senior Product Manager to join our Product team and lead the development of innovative solutions for our Energy Service Product team. In this critical role, you will define product requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure our internal tools and systems optimize energy service operations, including installation, maintenance, and customer support processes for Tesla's energy products. Leveraging your expertise in energy service operations, you will drive improvements in operational efficiency and enhance the internal management of energy-related workflows, contributing significantly to Tesla's mission of sustainable energy innovation.
What You'll Do
Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to enhance energy service operations tools, informed by operational needs, process inefficiencies, and industry best practices
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and Production Support teams to drive the development and continuous improvement of service operations
Engage deeply with Energy Service Operations and field teams to better understand operational challenges and identify requirements to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness for energy products installation, maintenance, and support
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Energy Service leadership, engineering teams, and senior management
Analyze operational feedback, process metrics, and performance data to identify opportunities for tool enhancements and process improvements in energy service operations
Manage dependencies across multiple teams and initiatives, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of key projects
Collaborate with Data teams to leverage insights from data analysis to inform strategic product decisions for internal energy service processes
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in energy services, identifying opportunities to integrate innovative solutions into internal energy service operations tools
Balance priorities effectively between new feature development, architectural improvements, and maintaining operational excellence, aligning with overall business goals
What You'll Bring
3 to 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on supporting the development and optimization of internal tools and services
In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret complex data and drive data-informed decision-making
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
Process-oriented mindset with a passion for optimizing internal workflows and operational efficiency in energy service operations
Experience in the renewable energy, solar, or energy storage industries
Knowledge of energy service operations processes, including installation, maintenance, and customer support for energy products
Familiarity with agentic implementations and data analytics tools for operational optimization in energy systems

Expected Compensation $128,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
